New Delhi, Aug 15 : Sharukh khan was detained at the newark-new jersey airport ,when he was transit to chikago to attend a "indian" indepenceday, the 63rd. there were no proper reasons for his detention there .however , media confirm that the reason for the incident was the tag of "KHAN"in his name. his personal secretery who was a hindu was allowed .the security was concerned about knowing whether he was a legit indian or not.despite , the repeat words by his security saying that he was a actor , the security could not leave him until furthur investigation which was carried on for another two hours.
responce of USA: US Ambassador to India, Timothy J Roemer, said in a statement here that the US was trying to understand the case.
He said Shahrukh is a ''global icon'' and many Americans loved his films. ''We are trying to ascertain the facts of the case--to understand what took place. Shahrukh Khan, the actor and global icon, is a very welcome guest in the United States. Many Americans love his films,'' the US Ambassador said.
The actor was allowed only one phone call during the period and was let off only after the intervention by Indian Embassy officials. Incidentally, Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming releases include Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan which touches on the issue of racial profiling and discrimination faced by a certain minority community in a post-9/11 world.

Measuring 10.3 x 7.3 x 1.17 inch, the Samsung N310 also boasts of a keyboard which is 100% bacteria resistant making it more hygienic than any other laptop. In addition, the keyboard of this ultra-portable netbook PC is 93% the size of a regular desktop keyboard offering ease and comfort in trying.
